During the president's stopover he will also meet with U.S. troops at Camp Victory, the sprawling American camping that is a short car drive from Baghdad airport.

A trip to Baghdad's Green Zone to meet with the Iraqi leadership was canceled because of poor weather conditions in Baghdad. Instead, Obama will meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki at Camp Victory instead.

White House officials say this is not due to security issues but because poor visibility made it difficult for a helicopter flight to the capital's Green Zone.
