Την Παρασκευή 25 Σεπτεμβρίου 2009 και ώρα 10:30 π.μ. θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο χώρο του Γραφείου Τύπου και Επικοινωνίας Νέας Υόρκη, συνέντευξη Τύπου του διεθνώς βραβευμένου Έλληνα μουσικοσυνθέτη και πιανίστα Μίμη Πλέσσα, με την ευκαιρία της επιστροφής του στη Νέα Υόρκη για επιλεγμένες εμφανίσεις στο Queens Theatre in the Park, στις 26 και 27 Σεπτεμβρίου και στο Dizzy’s Jazz Club, στις 28 Σεπτεμβρίου.
Τον Έλληνα μουσουργό θα πλαισιώσουν οι συνεργάτες του στην τελευταία δισκογραφική του δουλειά “echo: the music of Mimis Plessas” (Emarel Music), η ερμηνεύτρια Εύη Σιαμαντά και ο βιμπραφωνίστας Χρήστος Ραφαηλίδης.
MIMIS PLESSAS IN NEW YORK – PRESS CONFERENCE
On the occasion of Greece’s multi-award winning acclaimed composer and pianist Mimis Plessas’ return to New York for three special performances at the Queens Theatre in the Park and the Dizzy’s Jazz Club, a press conference will be held this Friday, 25 September 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in the premises of the Greek Press and Communication Office.
Mimis Plessas together with vocalist Evi Siamanda and New York-based vibraphonist Christos Rafalides will present their work and their recent CD recording “echo: the music of Mimis Plessas” (Emarel Music), a mosaic of global rhythms with Plessas on piano, arranged and produced by Rafalides.
