(Rahnuma): Patriarch Kirill of Moscow met Fener Greek Patriarch Bartholomew in Istanbul on Friday.
Kirill was accompanied by Metropolitan Hilarion of Russia during his visit to Fener Greek Patriarchate in Balat district.
The meeting, also attended by Metropolitan Emmanuel of France, lasted for four hours.
It is said that the situation of Ukranian Church, which became independent in April, was among the topics of discussion.
The application of the Ukrainian Church to the Ukrainian Parliament to become independent of Moscow was enacted in April.
