From the election of the Metropolitan of Pereiaslav and Belotserkovsky Epiphanius by the Primate of the local Autocephalous Orthodox Church (UPPC) won the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and the Ukrainian Patriarch Filaret.

According to him, to control the new structure will be Constantinople: he will get the role of the Supreme court (and not only for bishops, but ordinary clerics), there will be mirro for the Church, under the control of vanara moves and the Ukrainian Diaspora. Also, the winners were generally of the UOC-KP. First, it secures its dominant position in the nascent Church and gets the best (if not all) posts. Secondly, it saves your property and your temples.
