The question is: Has the Islamic leadership of Turkey and the most of Turkish people the same feelings? As a consequence of their religion which is also used for their political plans (Strategic depth of Davoutoglou), logically yes.
Erdogan now and before him all Turkish leaders hated Christians. Look at what happened diachronically in Turkey from 1923 – 1999 The violations of the Treaty of Lausanne by the Turkish Republic 1923 to 1999.
Turkey is the only country of the world in which its people feels that the place where they live does not belong to them because it was acquired via genocides to become first Turkish and secondly Muslim.
Be sure that Turks has now similar dreams for the whole Europe to be done gradually in the future. In Cyprus this is already in progress.
