Επιστολή καταπέλτης – καταγγελία του Ν. Μάρτη προς την Γερμανίδα Καγκελάριο Α. Μέρκελ

Με αφορμή την πρόσφατη βαλκανική περιοδεία της Γερμανίδας Καγκελαρίου, κατά την οποία σε συνέντευξή της στην κροατική τηλεόραση αναφέρθηκε στην ΠΓΔΜ ως ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝΙΑ, θα ήθελα να την παρακαλέσω να λάβει υπ’ όψιν της τα ακόλουθα.

Ο αείμνηστος  Πρόεδρος της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας Κωνσταντίνος Καραμανλής, μιλώντας προ ετών στη Θεσσαλονίκη, τόνισε ότι «Μία Μακεδονία υπάρχει και αυτή είναι Ελληνική»

Ο Καθηγητής Ιστορίας του Πανεπιστημίου της Οξφόρδης κ. Ρόμπιν Φολ, επ’ ευκαιρία της εν εξελίξει εκθέσεως στο εκεί Μουσείο Ashmolean, με τίτλο «Από τον Ηρακλή στον Μέγα Αλέξανδρο», τόνισε σε επίσημη συνέντευξή του, ότι όσοι ονομάζουν την ΠΓΔΜ Μακεδονία, είναι ανιστόρητοι.

Ελέχθη επίσης, ότι εάν ο πρώην Πρόεδρος των ΗΠΑ κ. Τζώρτζ Μπους ο νεότερος, έβλεπε την προαναφερόμενη Έκθεση, θα εντρέπετο που ονόμασε την ΠΓΔΜ ως Μακεδονία. Αλλά ο Αμερικανός Πρόεδρος δεν είναι Ιστορικός ούτε Αρχαιολόγος και ενδεχομένως παρασύρθηκε από κακούς συμβούλους.

Οι 15 ηγέτες της Ε.Ε. τον Ιούνιο του 1992 σε συνδιάσκεψη κορυφής στη Λισσαβώνα,  αποφάσισαν ομόφωνα να αναγνωρίσουν την ΠΓΔΜ, υπό την προϋπόθεση ότι η ονομασία της δεν θα περιελάμβανε τη λέξη Μακεδονία. Το θέμα είχε τότε εγερθεί από τον Μακεδόνα Πρόεδρο της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας Κωνσταντίνο Καραμανλή, ο οποίος τόνιζε στην από 3-1-1992 συναφή επιστολή του ότι:

• · Η αναγνώριση της αυτοαποκαλούμενης «Δημοκρατίας της Μακεδονίας» έχει θεμελιώδη σημασία γιά την Ελλάδα, κάτι το οποίο γνωρίζω καλύτερα από κάθε άλλο, διότι είμαι ο ίδιος μακεδόνας.
• · Η Δημοκρατία αυτή ούτε εθνολογικά, ούτε ιστορικά έχει δικαίωμα να ονομάζεται Μακεδονία. Η εθνολογική σύνθεσή της αποτελείται κυρίως από Αλβανούς, Τούρκους, Σλάβους και Αθίγγανους, που ουδεμία σχέση έχουν με τους Μακεδόνες

Είναι αδιανόητο, τόσα χρόνια μετά τη λήξη του Ψυχρού Πολέμου, να δίδεται ιστορική νομιμοποίηση στις σκοπιμότητες του Στάλιν και του Τίτο, οποίοι ονόμασαν την Νότια Γιουγκοσλαβία ως Μακεδονία, γιά να εξυπηρετήσουν βλέψεις εξόδου στο Αιγαίο και αποσπάσεως της Μακεδονίας από την Ελλάδα.

To Mrs. Angela Dorothea Merkel Chancellor of GermanyOn the occasion of a recent tour by the German Chancellor to the Balkan States, and that during an interview to the Croatian Television she referred to FYROM republic by the name of MACEDONIA, I would kindly ask Her Excellency to take into consideration the following: The ever memorable President of the Hellenic Democracy Konstantinos Karamanlis, in a speech many years ago in the city of Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Greece, he strongly mentioned that “There is one only Macedonia and it is Greek”.The History Professor of the University of Oxford, Mr. Robin Fall, on the occasion of the exhibition-still being open-in the Ashmolean Museum of the city, under the title “HERACLES to ALEXANDER THE GREAT”-Treasures from the Royal Capital of Macedonia, a Hellenic Kingdom in the Age of Democracy, in his official interview said that those who name FYROM as Macedonia, indeed are lacking knowledge of history!It was also said that, if the f. President of USA George W. Bush had visited the above exhibition, he would have been ashamed of himself for recognizing the FYROM by the name of Macedonia. Also, the American President is neither a Historian nor an Archaeologist; probably his was misled by his advisors. In June 1992, 15 Leaders of the European Union, during their Summit Conference in Lisbon, decided unanimously to recognize FYROM as a republic, on the premise that its name will not include the word “Macedonia”. The subject then was brought up by the Macedonian President of the Hellenic Democracy Konstantinos Karamanlis, who had stated in his pertinent letter the following:-The recognition of the self-proclaimed “Republic of Macedonia” is of fundamental significance for Greece, which is something that I know better than anybody else, because I am a Macedon myself.-The said republic neither ethnologically nor historically has any legal claim to be named Macedonia. Its ethnological composition is mainly comprised of Albanians, Turks, Slavs and Gypsy, who all have no relation whatsoever with the Macedonians. It is entirely inconceivable, after the many years passed from the ending of the Cold War, that a historical legalization be given to the expediencies of Stalin and Tito, who had named the Southern Yugoslavia as Macedonia, in order that their scopes of exiting to Aegean Gulf be served, as well as that their designs of detaching Macedonia from Greece be materialized. Yours truly,NIKOS MARTIS
