Today, October 28th, is OXI Day. “Oxi” is the Greek Word for “No”, and today we mark the Anniversary of Greek Prime Minister Ioannis Metaxas’ courageous refusal of Fascist and Nazi occupation of Greece during World War II. Against far superior military powers and all odds, the Greek nation, with their faith in God, resisted the Axis Powers, delaying their advance and ultimately changing the tide of the War.

The Washington OXI Day Foundation video is a powerful and inspirational tribute, both commemorating a great moment in human history, and inspiring us to be courageous and virtuous today.
