At the invitation of the Turkish authorities, the North Atlantic Council (NAC), chaired by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, will visit Turkey on 6 and 7 May 2019.
The visit takes place in the context of the 25th anniversary of the Mediterranean Dialogue (MD) with the participation of representatives from NATO’s Mediterranean Dialogue partners.
The Secretary General will chair a meeting of the North Atlantic Council with MD partners in Ankara. Separately, he will have a bilateral programme with senior Turkish government officials.
