Gerry Rice: Αν η αξιολόγηση ολοκληρωθεί, όπως αναμένεται στα τέλη Ιουλίου, δεν θα υπάρξουν προβλήματα στην χρηματοδότηση

Στο δημοσίευμα των Financial Times για την πιθανή διακοπή της χρηματοδότησης του ελληνικού προγράμματος από το ΔΝΤ ο επρόσωπος Gerry Rice διέψευδει το δημοσίευμα, στέλνοντας όμως ξεκάθαρο μήνυμα προς την Αθήνα, αναφέροντας τα εξής: 

"There is an ongoing review of the Greek program; the mission that concluded yesterday has made important progress; policy discussions have paused and are expected to resume by the end of the month. The priority remains for the Greek authorities to deliver on the program quickly. If the review is concluded by the end of July, as expected, no financing problems will arise because the program is financed till end-July 2014.”
